T-Liner is a One piece main and lateral cured-in-place liner . The full circle connection in the main line is 16 inches in length , is continuous and centers with the lateral liner. By design compressible material is sewn at the ends of the main line portion that has been engineered to create smooth transitions in the main line . This one piece main and lateral cured-in-place liner is vacuum impregnated to ensure the fabric liner is completely saturated with resin. The lateral liner is inverted up the lateral pipe to a distance of 160 feet to allow for resin migration in open joints and any voids reducing infiltration , eliminating root intrusion , and restoring structural integrity. Four Hydrophilic O-rings, two on each side on the lateral connection in the main line portion, are embedded in between the host pipe and new liner. In approximately a 24 hour period if water were to migrate, these o-rings will swell up to three times their original size acting as a secondary measure to seal the system reducing infiltration. Once a t-Liner is installed properly it can be air tested to prove the system is sealed. This is all accomplished because Each T- liner is air tested at the factory before shipment as part of LMK's standard operating procedures for Quality Control. T-Liner by LMK meets ASTM standards F1216-03,F1216-05, and F1216-98 standard practice for rehabilitation of existing pipelines and conduits by the inversion and curing of a resin-impregnated tube . ASTM F2561-06 standard practice for rehabilitation for sewer service lateral and its connection to the main using a one piece main and lateral cured-in-place liner is a new standard as of July, 2006. LMK's T-Liner is 100% compliant with this standard.
